QLQ-C30 was measured. To do this, we had access to the AURA2 [NCT02094261] [8] and AURA3 [NCT02151981] [9] clinical studies, which collected both QLQ-C30 and EQ-5D-5L questionnaires in previously treated EGFR and T790M mutation-positive NSCLC pa-tients. In the process of performing this validation, we aimed to also identify issues surrounding

While the EORTC QLQ-C30 is an important tool for assessing the generic aspects of QOL, it has limitations and therefore a modular approach was adopted for disease-specific treatment measurements. An essential aspect of the “modular” approach to QOL assessment adopted by the EORTC QLG (Quality of Life Group) is the development of modules specific to EORTC Quality of Life Group website. C Catalan Cebuano Chichewa Chinese Cantonese (Hong Kong) Chinese Mandarin (China) This study evaluated the Korean version of the EORTC QLQ-C30 (version 3.0) in terms of psychometric properties and its validation. One hundred and seventy patients completed three questionnaires EORTC QLQ-C30, the Beck depression inventory (BDI), and a brief pain inventory (BPI). Multitrait scaling analyses demonstrated that all scales met The QLQ-C30 version 1.0 (QLQ-C30(V1)) incorporates five functional scales (physical, role, cognitive, emotional, and social), three symptom scales (fatigue, pain, and nausea and vomiting), a global health status / QoL scale, and a number of single items assessing additional symptoms The purpose of the present work is to validate the third version of this questionnaire (3.0) for use in Spain. Two hundred and one head and neck cancer patients completed the QLQ‐C30 at one or two time points during the treatment and follow‐up periods, and a subsample completed the questionnaire on three occasions. We aimed to assess the validity and reliability of the Malaysian Chinese version of European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Quality of Life Questionnaire core (QLQ-C30) in patients with colorectal cancer.

In the process of performing this validation, we aimed to also identify issues surrounding the approach to validation of mapping algorithms. Methods Identification and … QLQ-C30, a generic cancer instrument, has previously been validated numerous times for different cancer cohorts [19,20] in different countries and cultures [21][22][23] [24], as well as for Corpus ID: 26672545.

The EORTC QLQ-C30 is a widely used and well validated instrument that is designed to assess health-related quality of life in patients with cancer. Since the original development of the questionnaire in 1987 the treatment landscape has changed and also different methodology for developing instruments has emerged as standard.

As this poses analytical challenges such as multiple testing, a single QLQ-C30 summary score (SS) was recently validated in solid tumors. In this work, we investigated its validity in patients with hematological malignancies. This study evaluated the Korean version of the EORTC QLQ-C30 (version 3.0) in terms of psychometric properties and its validation. One hundred and seventy patients completed three questionnaires EORTC QLQ-C30, the Beck depression inventory (BDI), and a brief pain inventory (BPI). Conclusions: The Turkish version of EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ-BR23 modules are reliable and valid tools to assess quality of life of Turkish breast cancer patients. The Japanese QLQ-C30 has a weak scale of role functioning in terms of item discriminative validity. It also has a weak scale of cognitive functioning in items of discriminative validity and internal consistency.

A few studies have used the QLQ-C30 to evaluate patients’ QOL in oncology research [ 19, 20, 21, 22 ], but no instruments have been validated for measuring symptoms and QOL in patients receiving palliative care in Chile. The 30‐item EORTC QoL questionnaire (QLQ‐C30) is a psychometrically robust, cross‐culturally accepted questionnaire that was designed to be applicable to a broad spectrum of cancer patients as a core questionnaire. 8 This instrument consists of 5 function scales (physical, role, emotional, cognitive, and social), 3 symptom scales (fatigue, nausea/emesis, and pain), 6 single‐item scales Cronbach's alpha of the QLQ‐C30 scales ranged from 0.64 (Cognitive Functioning) to 0.94 (Global Health Status); the alpha of the QLQ‐H&N35 ranged from 0.55 (Speech) to 0.90 (Sexuality). Known‐groups comparisons showed multiple differences in sociodemographic and clinical variables. Objective: This study aimed to validate the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC QLQ-C30, English version 3.0) in Singaporean cancer patients. Methods: In a cross-sectional study, a heterogeneous sample of cancer patients (n = 57) self-administered a questionnaire containing the QLQ-C30, the Short Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36) and 2020-07-20 · Cost-effectiveness models require quality of life utilities calculated from generic preference-based questionnaires, such as EQ-5D. We evaluated the performance of available algorithms for QLQ-C30 conversion into EQ-5D-3L based utilities in a metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patient population and subsequently developed a mCRC specific algorithm.
